At Growing Seeds Counselling, I am committed to guiding you on your path to emotional well-being. My psychodynamic therapy approach emphasises understanding your past to shape a fulfilling future and examining how the unconscious aspects of our thinking influence our decisions and behaviour.
I obtained a degree in countryside management, which fostered my appreciation for the outdoors, particularly wild spaces. After facing personal challenges, I shifted my focus to studying the mind, emotions, feelings, and their connections to the body and the environment. I studied at Human Development Scotland in Glasgow, where I earned a diploma in Human Relations & Counselling. Currently, I support other trainees in their learning on this course.
I have a particular interest in attachment theory, exploring how our relationships with primary caregivers can impact us and the relationships we establish in adulthood. I am also concerned about our relationship with the Earth, given the climate emergency and the associated anxiety and grief.
I provide an open and safe environment to explore any concerns you may have, without judgment. Seeking counselling is a courageous decision, and I acknowledge the strength it takes to reach out for help.
I hope we can collaborate effectively. Please contact me to schedule a complimentary 15-minute call prior to a 50-minute consultation.
